Songs written by John Mossop and Martin Kruit
I loved this period of writing with John. In the early '90s's I lived in a small coastal town in South Africa called Hermanus, well known for it's Southern Wright wales that come there every year to give birth to their young. John would come up from Cape Town for the weekend and we would make music! I would give him some basic ideas and he would pen out some lyrics and melody. During the week I would arrange the piece and record all the instruments leaving John to add harmonies and piano on his next visit. We did this as often as possible and in a few months we had 21 pieces of music.
I think I work best when I collaborate with other songwriters and musicians. If there is anyone out there looking for a co-writer/arranger/musician and tea maker, give me a call.
