I can't remember a day in my life without music. My dad was a professional musician, teaching music at schools and at home. He also had a dance band and was away every weekend gigging. When he was away I would play the piano or nick my brothers guitar and soon began putting together songs of my own.

My first gig at 15, was playing drums with my dad. After leaving home at 16, I played guitar in a duo with my brother Pete for a number of years. The success we had in the 70s as an acoustic duo in Cape Town formed the building blocks of my musical career.

My first computer based studio was a Atari 1040ST and Roland MT32 sound module. At last I had the means to put together my compositions and hear them arranged with all the instruments. I now use Logic Pro and Reason/Record on an iMac

As a solo musician I have performed in restaurants, social clubs, hotel bars and lounges, at cocktail parties, corporate functions, weddings, birthday parties, New Years Eve parties etc. I have also played in bands on lead guitar, bass, drums and keyboards performing in South Africa, The Netherlands, Denmark and the United Kingdom.
